About the PramFest

The Ackworth PramFest is a charity event with a pram race starting at Carr Bridge and ending at the cricket club where you'll find stalls, games, rides and live music. All money raised goes towards the Prince of Wales Hospice in Pontefract.

Pram Race

The race starts at Carr Bridge playing fields and ends at the Cricket Club, winding through 3 miles of the village.

Welly Wanging

Test your welly wanging skills. Wang the furthest and win a trophy.

Live Music

Dance away to a number of live music acts in the afternoon/evening and enjoy the atmosphere

Stalls

There will be a number of stalls on the day selling a range of items and proving tombolas.

Rides for the kids

Let the kids (and maybe some big kids) enjoy themselves on the rides and inflatables.

Disco Until Late

Enjoy local DJ, Gaz Mac, as he mixes the tunes in to the late hours to wrap the day up.
